"Raised right means I was brought up straight, not crooked. That I was raised in an upright manner without compromise, and that I was taught by example to walk a straight line without wavering. It means my word is like oak. That I mean what I say and I say what I mean. And should I falter from that plumb bob of verity and fidelity, which I inevitably do from time to time, it means my troubled conscience is compelled without delay to right itself instinctively. It means my growth from birth was guided by a tempered lattice of family values and anchored within an iron cross of Judeo-Christian wisdom and tradition. Being raised right afforded me the right angle in life to build on, a fair and square framework to lean on, and a faithful and true compass to live by. It means I was raised in the belief that hard work and diligence have a moral benefit and an inherent ability to strengthen character and individual abilities. That the goodness and rightness of fruitfulness and fruition are achieved not as a result of the work we do, but as a result of the way in which we work."

How fortunate am I to have been raised right.
